This water soluble vitamin and amino acid liquid supplement is for addition to the drinking water. Poultry require protein as their source of amino acids for synthesis of body proteins. Poultry synthesize proteins containing twenty-two amino acids. Amino acids that can be synthesized by the animal are termed dispensable or non-essential amino acids. They cannot synthesize all the amino acids they require. The remainder need to come from the diet as essential or indispensable amino acids and a few cannot be synthesized at a rate fast enough for maximum growth and therefore must be supplied in the diet. Sometimes changes in diet, stress and a variety of other factors assist in causing a deficiency. This can be seen through feather eating, feather loss, mortality, and failure to thrive in the flock. This is where supplementing into the drinking water can refill requirements and the reserves needed by the bird. Apply to drinking water at 1L per 1000L water. 3-10 days noting response to treatment. This can be repeated weekly as required.
